Wide-Eyed-Wonder - Apply For Funding - Children's Entertainment

Experiencing live performing arts benefits children, their families and their communities.

Do you know of a children’s act or event you’d like to bring to a community in need? Do you know of a child or school group wanting to attend an event they can’t afford? We welcome proposals from community members, from community organisations, from schools and from performing artists.

Our focus of impact is twofold:

  1. We fund performing artists to bring wide-eyed wonder to vulnerable children in their own countries and, often, in their own local communities.
  2. We fund children to attend theatre and live entertainment events, as individuals or together as a school, childcare or community group.

Wide-Eyed Wonder funds and facilitates quality children’s artists and performers to engage audiences of disadvantaged and vulnerable children in Australia and across the world such as:

  • asylum seeker children and children in refugee camps;
  • Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander children;
  • children recovering from natural disasters;
  • children in orphanages or slums;
  • abused and neglected children (foster, family violence);
  • children with a disability;
  • sick children in hospital;
  • children in rural and regional communities; and
  • children in disadvantaged urban communities.

We invite applications from community members, community groups as well as performing artists.

We value your time and your talent. As such, we don’t require laborious grant funding applications. Please just fill in the form below with as much information as possible and we’ll be in touch to discuss.
